Alongside the hills of Montjuic (Barcelona) was the chosen birthplace of PACO AGUILERA on the 22th of January 1961.
Paco has “malagueñas” roots and was brought up in an artistic atmosphere, with uncles like Peret and Paco Aguilera, famous guitarist who
played for singers like Manolo Caracol and Lola Flores.
His father, a bullfighter, nicknamed “Herrerito de Melilla” and his mother Pilar, a true “mañica” (from Aragón), who always gave him support.
Starts studying music and flamenco guitar at the young age of 14 and makes his approach towards the “Rumba Catalana”.  He forms his first
“rumbero” group called “RUMBA 2000” and records his first work titled “Tápate, Maria, tápate”.  Later on he forms the group called “BORDON 4”,
with a new revolutionary sound for the times.
At the age of 18, he forms his first own band “PACO AGUILERA Y SU SALSA FLAMENCA” becoming the group’s lead singer. His perseverance
and extraordinary talent lead him to sign a recording contract with HORUS and released 3 hit-songs “Me gusta tu cara”, “Bambala bambali” and
“Navidad Gitana”, which went Gold.
PACO AGUILERA is invited by Gypsy King’s group leader “Chico Bouchikhi” to a tour supporting concert the International Festival “MOSAICO
GITANO” visiting Germany, France, Switzerland and other European countries.
Finally, he crosses the Atlantic and stayed in Mexico for a year. There he starts to gravitate towards a fusion between “Rumba” and other types of
music such as “funky” and “salsa”. He achieved success on Mexican T.V. and had life performances in several Mexican cities. Afterwards, he
comes back to Spain as the new “Rumba” phenomenon and signs a recording contract with CBS Sony and released “LOS ROLLIN POR
RUMBAS” which spawned to Gold in Spain, Germany and Brazil.  He goes on tour to Italy, Poland and Switzerland, taking part at the International
Festival Tour “CALIENTE-CALIENTE” and released his sixth L.P. “PACO AGUILERA Y LOS ROLLIN” and in Turkey he represents Spain at the
HABITAT II FESTIVAL.  He participates in two compilation records “LOCOS POR LA RUMBA” and “RUMBA TOTAL”, which becomes the most
sold record in Spain.  Due to his work commercial success, he appears on several Spanish television programs alongside the comedian duet
“CRUZ Y RAYA” one of his member “Juan Muñoz” produces a video-clip of PACO AGUILERA’s song “LA NOCHE DE SAN JUAN”.
Again PACO records another record “KING OF THE RUMBA” where he sings Elvis Presley’s songs (in English and Spanish) and it includes a
song titled “PACHUPAE-PACHUPAE” which is chosen for the promotion of “DISCO ALEGRIA 2003” most sold in Spain and Latin-American.
Finally PACO founded his own recording label “PA&CO MUSIC” producing and releasing his best work “REGGAETON AND FLAMENQUITO” an
original fusion of “Reggaeton” and his “Rumba”. One of this songs “EL AMOR DURA” is included in the soundtrack of the film  “EL EQUIPO JA”,
at the same time he releases a Christmas carol’s record called “ESTAMOS EN NAVIDAD”.
He again appeared in TONI VERDAGUER’s film “RAVAL RAVAL”, where Paco plays a Barcelona’s percussionist.
SONY BMG releases “SONIDO URBANO”, where PACO collaborates with the video clip  and the song “ENCIENDE MOTORES”  a fusion of  
AULA DOMINGUEZ’s “hip-hop” and PACO’s own “rumba” and becomes the promotion song for the record and reaches # 1 at “The Canal Latino
Television”  charts –plus being included at the “40 LATINOS”, “CADENA SOL” and “TELETAXI T.T.V.” charts.
After touring around the world with his guitar, Paco makes his way to USA performing in the musical “El Flamencazo” at the prestigious theater
Guzman Center in Miami and breaking record attendance at the concert “Concierto Amores” next to great talents like Juan Jose Rodriguez “El
Puma” and Concha Valdes Miranda.
With his unique style, Paco was invited to collaborate in the innovative musical “Impact Royal Sound Orchestra” a mix of big band music with
Paco Aguilera’s rumba.  Performing with artists like Juan Carmona, Jose Miguel Carmona de “Ketama”, Anye Bao, Lulo Perez, Ed Calle,
Richard Bravo and other talented musicians.  Presenting this production at the University of Miami, sharing the stage with “Chase and Sound
Shine Band”.
Paco, in Dominican Republic along with Musicalia, introduces his new disco graphic production “Paco’s  Way .  With new fusions of merengue,
bachata, timba and rumba catalana.  
This album features “Mi Amigo Juan” a beautiful song compose by Paco Aguilera and Carlos Alberto Iser, dedicated to the awareness and
understanding of autism.  Duet with Moncho and collaborating Tito Puente Jr.,  Livan Trujillo, Charly De Gitanos,  School Jose Marti choir and
guitars by Jose Luis Monton. Paco, thru his music, is committed to propagate autism alertness.
This new album includes “La Gitana de la calle 8” and “Rumbinban” rumba catalana with salsa beats,  with the collaboration of Lulo Perez
(Grammy winner for his work with Alejandro Sanz) and Roberto Morales (Grammy winner for his productions with Enrique Iglesias).
“From Barcelona a Miami”, together with Bayron Ramos, Paco mixes rumba with timba cubana.  “No me hagas sufrir” a great combination of
bachata and Paco’s flavor.

the collaboration of
Anibal Diaz “Latin Broadway” and his talented musician friends.
